FAQ’s Sunshine Festival

Q: I have already bought my ticket online but I have not received them, should I be concerned?

A: If you purchase your ticket online we now send you an ‘e-ticket’ which is attached to an email sent out after you make your purchase. If you do not receive this email please make sure you check your spam email too. If you have lost the email or deleted it by mistake you can log back into your ThatsTheTickets account and reprint your invoice, bring that with you to the site.

Q: I have been asked to verify my email when setting up a new account, but I can’t find the verification email

A: There could be a few explanations. Please check your spam or junk folder. It may be in there. Alternatively, you may have entered your email address incorrectly. It is amazing how often that happens. Please check you have entered the correct email address and you have access to that email account.

Q: What age is considered a child to gain free entrance into the festival?

A: Children 11 years or under will gain free entrance to Sunshine Festival when accompanied by an adult with a ticket. You cannot purchase a child ticket if you have not bought an adult ticket. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. ID is required for everyone upon entry to Sunshine Festival and there is a ‘Challenge 21’ policy in place.

Teenagers aged twelve to seventeen inclusive must fill in our Parental Supervision Form giving full details of the Responsible Adult that is supervising them before arrival on line.

Q: When Does The Campsite Open?

A: The campsite opens at 8am on Friday 25th August 2023 for Full Weekend with Camping tickets holders. If you’ve purchased the Thursday arrival add-on, you may arrive from 8am on Thursday 24th August. Only people who have purchase a Thursday ticket can arrive and set up camping on the Thursday. Those with Friday onward tickets will not be allowed to enter.

Q: Can I park my car next to my tent?

A: Yes you can park one car for security and ease of loading/unloading.

Q: Are motor homes, caravans and camper vans permitted? Do you have electric hook ups?

A: Yes, they are permitted and they are included in the cost of your weekend ticket. We do not have electric hook ups

Q: Do you have a separate area for motor homes, caravans and camper vans?

A: No, they will be parked in the main campsite. When parking, you must follow the campsite marshal’s instructions and park within the guidelines of your designated space. Please be advised that there is no power available on site.

Q: Can I take my own food and alcohol into the arena?

A: Like all major festivals, you are not permitted to take your own alcohol or food into the arena. You are permitted to have your own alcohol and food in the campsite.

Q: How can I find out which act is performing and where?

A: You can find a list of who is performing on the Sunshine Festival website and on our official Facebook page. Times and stages will be available in the program which can be purchased on arrival.

Q: Do you operate the Facebook Sunshine Festival Fan page?

A: No. That is not our Facebook page. We do not take any responsibility for content on that page or tickets resold via that page. Our official Facebook page is this one

Q: Is food and drink available on site?

A: Yes. Each year sees the further development of our independent food village. Every trader has been carefully selected to ensure a great selection of cuisines.

Q: Can we bring BBQs?

A: You may have BBQs in the camping area ONLY. BBQs must be attended at all times and must be kept off the ground (raised up structure only – no disposable BBQs as not to damage the Meadow.

Fire Pits are not permitted in line with Fire Authority Regulations

Q: Are dogs welcome?

A: Yes, of course you may bring your dog to our festival. We ask that they are kept on leads within the arena areas and that you do not leave them in cars at any point. Owners are responsible for their dogs and are to bag their mess up and dispose of it appropriately. If your dog does not like noise, please be aware that the festival has loud music. Avoid sitting near speakers.

Q: Is there disabled access and family facilities available?

A: The site is reasonably flat although it is not always even as it is a natural field. There are wheelchair/easy access toilets at the festival supervised by County Medical Ltd our First Aid providers. These disabled toilets also contain the baby changing facilities. We also have a disabled access viewing platform. We do have disabled parking right next to the area entrance

Q: Do you do carer tickets?

A: We keep the costs of the tickets as low as we can taking into account the costs of maintaining and providing facilities. As a result we cannot offer discounts on our ticket prices

Q: How does the payment plan work?

A: The payment plan is done over three monthly installments. The first months payment is a NON REFUNDABLE deposit. Your ticket must be paid for in FULL before the tickets are released and validated.

Q: I can no longer attend the festival, can I get a refund?

A: All tickets are non refundable and non transferable. Please choose your tickets carefully before purchasing

Q: Can I purchase a Thursday entry ticket without buying a weekend ticket?
A: No. The Thursday ticket is an extension ticket which requires the purchase of a full weekend ticket.

Q: Can I purchase day tickets for Sunshine Festival?
A: Day tickets are not available at Sunshine Festival

Q: Are tickets available for Sunshine Festival 2024?

A: We have the Super Early Bird ticket available for 2024. It is a weekend ticket including Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 2024 will be our 15th year and it will be massive. Other tickets will be available for 2024 after this years festival
